Oliver Haynes is a software engineer by day and jazz trumpeter by night, has played trumpet for over 20 years. He’s had the opportunity to perform professionally in a variety of environments at restaurant venues and concert halls around Rochester, NY.
He brings a new youthful, adventurous and unique voice in both his performance and composition of the New Energy Jazz Orchestra.
Among his greatest achievements has been the deep honor of performing in the New Energy Jazz Orchestra while he studied Web & Mobile Computing at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he composed and performed his first big band arrangements for and with the talented group. These days, Oliver can be found performing salsa music with Orquesta Antonetti in Rochester, New York and jazz trumpet with the Rick Holland big band.
